Luke Brenner loves to paint.
Luke is a native of Newport, Rhode Island. He went to Rogers High School, then the University of Hawaii, Manoa, studying under renowned West Coast artist Pia Stern. Luke paints portraits and landscapes in oil, and has recently worked with Newport Art Projects to paint a 40’ X 20’ mural on Malborough street in Newport (on the rear wall of the Boru Noodle Bar). His work is continuously evolving but his focus on painting light as it hits his subject is a constrant. His work is for sale privately, at Kristin Coates Gallery & occasionally at The King’s Lens Gallery, both in Newport, Rhode Island. Luke is also a father of three and a bartender at The Clarke Cooke House.
